bullet  General Notes:

Clarence Palm Jr ("Red" or "Pete") remembers that Jack had the fishstore on Dorr St. But on Sunday during prohibition it became a speakeasy. Jack ran afoul of the law during prohibition running liquor from Canada by boat - something that he did with his brother Clarence Sr.

Jack was known to be a gambler. In addition he always had dogs. Jack gave a dog to Red but it promptly went and bit a neighbor child and had to be destroyed (the dog that is!).

Jack never married or to our knowledge had any children. He did have two common law spouses the last of which was Alice.
