The grandchildren called her "Money" - although how it was supposed to be spelled is unclear.
Although Mattie married two times she only had children from her first marriage to Palm. She is buried in the Palm plot which includes her sons Frank, John, and Clarence along with Clarence's wife Bessie Pohlman
1900 census records her living on 1228 Dorr St Toledo
along with her 4 children - but no male head of household. Also listed living at 1223 Dorr is Matilda Palm age 66 born in PA and also living alone. However subsequent research indicates this is probably an unrelated person - there is known to be another Palm family in Toledo.
Listed as living with Thomas F Palm on 1612 Canton - this could be the other Matilda Palm however.

Mrs. Martha M. Mills, resident of Toledo 61 years, died today at home, 1124 Dorr St. after and illness of several years. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Rollow Kenyon; sons, John W. and Clarence Palm; brothers, John Loar, Kansas City, Kas., and Jim Loar, Portland Ore.; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-granchildren. The body will be in the Boyer-Fellbach & Van Wormer Mortuary after noon tomorrow. Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the mortuary, the Rev. Ewald Berger, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetary
