Mary Elizabeth, youngest child of Adam R. and Rosannah Bruner Brown, was born in McVIlle, Indiana, on September 21, 1909. At an early age she moved to Bloomington, Indiana, and grew to adulthood there. July 13, 1930 she was married to Russell D. Anderson, in Woosacket, South Dakota. They first live near Fort Thompson, later moving to a ranch on the Moreau river, south of Timber lake. July, 1937 they moved to Tenino, WN. where they lived until 1945 when they returned to South Dakota, living on a ranch 17 miles south and west of Timber Lake. IN 1973 they moved to Timber Lake and in 1977 they moved to Gillette, Wyoming, where she passed away on November 18, 1981. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant daughter, 1 son, 1 sister, 2 half brothers, and 2 half sisters. She is survived by her husband and 3 sons - Boyd of Eagle Butte, Richard of White Horse, John of Madison and 2 daughters - Rosannah Alderson of Portland, Oregon and Sharon Dikoff of Gillette, wyoming, 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 sister Aetna Brown of Gillette, Wy., and one brother Enoch Brown of Timber Lake.
Mary married Russell ANDERSON.
