  General Notes:

Census has her living with John and Catherine under the name Susan Smith as the mother in law. However, her daughter's (Catherine) death certificate lists her mother's name as Mary Schmidt. This is perplexing since the informant in both cases was her husband John Braunschweiger.
She is listed as coming to the US in 1868 at the same time as her daughter.
